All About Polly's

At Polly’s we want to give another option besides fresh cut flowers. We know that the quality of artificial flowers now is incredible and worth getting excited about. The beautiful high-quality blooms we use here in the “garden” are incredibly lush and life-like, so much so that a professional would have troubling telling the fresh from the fake.

Having been a florist for over 30 years, we know the beauty of fresh flowers but are also very familiar with the problems they bring to a special day or event. Colours not being what was expected, flowers not being available due to weather events, or seasonal changes, weather such as wind and heat, causing the wilting of the flowers before they even get to the ceremony, and the biggest one, waiting until the morning of your wedding day to see the final outcome of your imagined bouquets. A very stressful day, even without the anticipation of the most important visual décor of a wedding day.

Artificial and dried flowers solve every single one of these problems. And with the incredibly life-like quality of the artificial flowers these days, there’s just no reason not to. And again, the biggest of the problems solved, being able to see your flowers months in advance so if there’s any problems, you’ll have plenty of time to sort them out.

Who is Polly?

That’s me. Polly is not my real name, but a nickname. I have been a florist for over 30 years now, 7 of those years I owned my own wedding flower business and helped many, many brides put together their dream wedding flowers.

The biggest advantage of so many years as a “real” flower florist- I know what the real thing should look like. That’s why at Polly’s you’ll only find the highest quality and life-like artificial flowers, none of the fake looking stuff.

Why is it a “secret” garden?

The secret is, unless you tell them, your friends, family and guests will never know your flowers are not fresh- until they notice how incredible they look at the end of the event!
